Team handbook

Your day in Studio: your schedule, booking requests, clients, checkout and your pay. Start with “Your first day”.

Your first day

Signing in for the first time

Your owner gives your email access to Studio. You create your sign-in once, then use your email and password.

your-website.com/login

  1. Ask your owner which email they gave access to. Use exactly that one.
  2. Go to your-website.com/login and tap “Email me a sign-in code instead”.
  3. Enter your email, tap “Email me a code”, then type “The code we emailed you” and tap “Sign in”.
  4. Set a password: go to your-website.com/login, tap “Forgot your password?”, enter your email, and type the code with your new password.
  5. From now on, sign in with your email and password. You land in Studio.
Good to know
  • If you land in a client account instead of Studio, your owner hasn’t given that email access yet. Ask them to check “Team → your profile → Login”.
  • The code works for a few minutes. Ask for a new one if it expires.

Put Studio on your phone

Install Studio as an app with no app store, so it’s one tap away and can send you alerts.

Studio menu → “Get the Studio app”

  1. Sign in to Studio on your phone.
  2. iPhone: open it in Safari, tap Share, then “Add to Home Screen” and “Add”.
  3. Android: tap “Get the Studio app”, or use the browser menu (three dots) → “Install app”.
  4. Open Studio from the home-screen icon from now on.

Turn on alerts for booking requests

Get a notification when a client requests a time with you.

Studio → Requests → “Turn on alerts”

  1. Open Studio from your home screen (on iPhone this is required).
  2. Go to “Requests” and tap “Turn on alerts”, then allow notifications.
  3. You’ll see “Request alerts are on for this phone”.
Good to know
  • Blocked? Allow notifications for the site in your phone settings, then try again.

What you can see and do

Your Studio shows your own day, clients you’ve served, your numbers and your pay. Setup pages are for owners and managers.

  1. You can use: Schedule, Requests, Messages, Checkout, Waitlist, Clients, Services (view only), Team, Videos, Reports and Team pay (plus Walk-ins and Classes if your business uses them).
  2. Your header numbers, “Your day”, reports and pay are your own.
  3. You can book, move and block time for yourself, and confirm, check in, complete or mark no-shows on your own appointments.
  4. Owners and managers handle cancellations, declining requests, settings, prices, the website, the store and payments.

Working the front desk

A front desk login sees the whole team’s calendar: book, move and check in anyone’s appointments, take payment, and handle walk-ins, the waitlist, requests, messages and clients. Settings, reports and pay stay with the owner.

Studio → Schedule

  1. Your owner or a manager adds your email under Settings → Who has access, “As: Front desk”.
  2. Sign in at your-website.com/login. You land on Schedule with every team member on the calendar.
  3. Tap an appointment to check the client in, move it or open Checkout.
  4. Use Requests for online bookings, Messages for client chats, Walk-ins and Waitlist for people at the door.

Turn on two-step sign-in

Protect your account: after your password, Studio asks for a 6-digit code from an authenticator app on your phone. Someone who learns your password still can’t get in.

Studio → Sign-in & security

  1. Install an authenticator app on your phone if you don’t have one: Google Authenticator, Microsoft Authenticator, 1Password or Authy.
  2. In Studio, open “Sign-in & security” and tap “Turn on two-step sign-in”.
  3. In the app, tap + and scan the QR code. (Can’t scan? Tap “Enter this key instead” and type the key.)
  4. Type the 6-digit code the app shows for “Lead Clickz Studio” and tap “Confirm and turn on”.
  5. From now on, sign in with your email and password, then the newest code from the app.
Good to know
  • Codes change every 30 seconds. If one is refused, wait for the next one and check your phone’s time is set automatically.
  • New phone? Turn it off with a code from the old phone, then set it up again on the new one.
  • Lost your phone? Ask Lead Clickz support to reset it. They’ll confirm it’s you first.

Helping clients

  4. Show the “Book” tile and the “Videos” tile in the middle.
  5. For anything else, send them the clients’ guide: your-website.com/guides/clients.

Common client questions

Quick answers to what clients ask most. Each one has a step-by-step page in the clients’ guide.

  1. “How do I change my appointment?” Visits → “Change time” or “Cancel” (until the cancellation window).
  2. “Why does it say waiting for confirmation?” It’s a request. You’ll accept it or suggest times they can pick.
  3. “I didn’t get a reminder.” Check that alerts are on in Profile, and that their email and mobile are right.
  4. “How do I share my video?” The “Share your look” tab.
  5. “I can’t sign in.” Use “Email me a sign-in code instead” with the email they booked with.
